Morning, afternoon, evening whatever the case maybe Donna here for you personally!
Today is the throwback Thursday promise part II. These following statements or questions are different than the audio version.
Question what are three (3) life experiences that taught you a lesson, about your #tbpromises? Now I want you to describe three (3) things that brings you joy, while going after your goals, dreams, and throwback promises?
Last but not least name three (3) people who are your "supporting cast" or a "support system" in obtaining your goals, dreams, and throwback promises?
Too many times we get caught up in The law of diminishing state, loosing the zeal and not counting the cost, instead of concentrating on the state of improvement and needing to put in more effort at any cost to advance our goals, dreams, and throwback promises.
Nevertheless, we fall into the "I am a failure" mode, so here are a few quotes to bring you back to reality:
"I can accept failure. Everyone fails at something. But I cannot accept not trying." --Michael Jordan
"Failure is an event, not a person. Yesterday ended last night".--Motivational speaker and business coach ZIG ZIGLAR
"Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving."--Terry Pratchett, Discworld, the fictional universe that bestselling author.
I list what their professions were because they have all had goals, dreams, and throwback promises too.
Here's an excerpt throwback promise of my own, while attending Oral Roberts University at the age of fifty-one (51), from my book: From Greyhound To A Cap-N-Gown.

Today is my 51st beloved day which I am grateful but should be farther along in my life according to the world system. Therefore, feelings of inadequacy have made what should be a happy occasion one of grief and emotional despair. Well, enough of the verbal pity party, and the only thing that is going to bring me back to this walking by faith results mode, was to follow my plan of buying a full-size bedroom suit like the old folks say, which includes the mattress, box spring, bed frames, you know the works. No longer having a second place to sleep, enjoying a queen-size bed at Larry's, place, because he was back with his ex-girlfriend, after our big fight. Yes, his presence was missed, that balanced scale ( Libra) servant attitude was great and right on time when I needed it. But I could not let my flesh and emotions get in the way of God’s plans and promises, especially with me allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me. Praise God for the financial aid refund, it was God’s way of cheering me up and it worked.
Pulling out my "encouragement" bag of quotes, I ran across one that refers to the aging folks! Also, one for people who are not so supportive and have a limited view of you and themselves!
Les Brown says, "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." I guess he should know, since Mr. Brown had a long line of unsuccessful interviews before he landed a CBS Talk Show at the age of 67.
Mae Jemison said as a "No Limit Soldier", "Never be limited by other people's limited imaginations."
Well, go do your homework, and I will upload the throwback promises episode part III.
