Being a Latina and specifically a Latina from Brazil is very important to Sheila, Public Policy Fellow, Office of Equity and Racial Justice at the Office of Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot. So much so, in 2018, she quit her job and along with her husband, who took a sabbatical, and 3 children spent a family gap year there.
