This episode I sit down with my father-in-law, Rod Ambrose, and we talk about growing up in Chicago during the civil rights movement, meeting civil rights icons such as Dr. Martin Luther King, and Medgar Evers. He tells stories about his time in the infamous Chicago street gang Black Stone Rangers in the 60s and escaping the gang life by joining the Nation of Islam, and being forced to flee the only home that he only knew and move to Phoenix, AZ.
