Te Ara Whetu - Waikanae Library project have advised that there will be temporary traffic management arrangements in place between the 2nd of February to approx 27th of February. Project Manager Mike Richardson dropped into the studio to talk about this next step in the project.

The traffic will be affected between 7.30am and 5pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays) and all weather dependent. This is to allow for the stormwater system and sprinkler system to be connected to the main networks which reside underneath carparks next to Mahara Gallery.

Approx 8 carparks will be closed while this work takes place and there will be traffic and pedestrian management in place to ensure everyone can get to where they need to go safely.
