28 years ago, we took our very first holiday to England – to Cornwall. In this episode, recorded in a cosy cottage in Shaftesbury, we look back at that trip and some memories that are, well… rather embarrassing! 😄Time to put the kettle on!New episode every other Thursday at 7.30pm (UK time). This is our vlogging channel: https://www.youtube.com/@KirstenJoerg#england #cornwall #britishculture
After more than ten years in the UK, there are still things that will probably always make us very German. In this episode of Tea & Bratwurst, we talk about the habits, attitudes and little quirks we've never quite lost and will probably never lose. This is our German identity!_____New episode every other Thursday at 7.30pm (UK time)
In this episode, we're coming to you from a very special place - a Landmark Trust railway cottage in the Welsh mountains with no neighbours around and nothing but nature, silence and the occasional steam train passing by. We spent a weekend at this magical place and it made us wonder: Could we actually live somewhere this remote?
This is going to be interesting! We ask each other questions without knowing what the other person would have prepared. Neither us knew what was coming and it surprised us more than once.
What started as a fun idea quickly turned into a very personal conversation with unexpected moments, honest answers and emotions.
Put the kettle on and join us!

What is it about English cottages that make them so special?
In this episode of Tea & Bratwurst, we chat about our love for English cottages - from their charm, character and cosy interiors to the little imperfections that make them feel so unique.
We also talk about why some people would never want to live in an old cottage, while we dream of one day taking on a cottage renovation project of our own.
