Hosts: Rick & Ai'Nan
In this episode one of the first co-hosts (Ai’Nan) comes back to speak about several of the other non-economic pillars of settler colonialism: Multiculturalism as an assimilative tool, Eurocentric constructs of Gender & Sexuality. During the conversation we also speak about academic institutions role in colonial society, Christianity’s role in settler colonialism (and how these pillars are inter-connected). At the end of the episode we speak about our vision of Decolonized Buffalo as a platform, and where it is today in the current internet environment.
Rick is a citizen of the Comanche Nation, and has a Masters in Indigenous People's Law from the University of Oklahoma.
