In Psalm 90:12 David cries out to the Lord: So teach us to number our days, that we may a heart of wisdom! David is not crying out to know the length (in years) of his life, but to know how to assign the proper value to the life he lives. If we knew the value assigned by the Lord to the lives we live, every day we would wake with great purpose, energy, and excitement for that day!
