Kelly Holstine has developed a system of compassion to reach some of Minnesota's most at risk students by creating a safe space for them to grow. For this work, Kelly has received Minnesota's Teacher of the Year Award for 2018-19. Since July 2019, Kelly has served as Director of Educational Equity at OutFront Minnesota to support and create school environments that help humans to feel safe, respected, and valued.
