Science teacher David Beck shares the questions that his middle -schoolers have submitted into a question box about sex over the years, which are in his book, "They Asked You What?!". Many interesting insights are revealed in the mostly hilarious and sometimes sobering questions, with Dr Marissa's favorite "Why do you only teach us about the bad things that come from sex, but we're never taught about the good that can come from it...do you expect us to learn it on our own?" It's time for us to talk about pleasure and responsible pleasure with the startling CDC statistic that one out of four kids graduate high school with an STD. We need to balance the sex education they are getting from the worst teacher, porn, with the real education about what is happening in this generations sex revolution, and the joy and responsibility of pleasure and sex.
