Sorry for the silence everyone. We didn't forget about you and we haven't given up on the podcast. Take a minute and listen to our update and get an idea of why we haven't posted an episode in a while. We will resume shortly so stay tuned for future episodes.
Thanks for listening and sharing.
On this episode we talk about the thing that made us take a break from recording, burnout and compassion fatigue. We take a moment away from the history and address a larger issue in both of our chosen careers and we offer up some stories and thoughts on how to combat compassion fatigue, burnout and depression caused from working in such a profession. If you are experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, or depression and feel that it is just too much, we want you to know that there are people here for you. You matter and you are making a difference. Get the help you need and find people around you who will help lift you up.
