In Matthew 5:16 Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." What would it look like to let God's light shine in elementary school classrooms today? Special guest, April Graney, shows young readers exactly what that looks like in her new children's book If Jesus Came to My School, published by Penguin Random House.
April is on the show today sharing a word of encouragement to parents entrusted with the important responsibility of teaching their kids to be salt and light, wherever they are. She builds this foundational message on three things: purpose, prayer, and power, and shares a little bit about her own journey as a mom of 5 and teacher at a children's home and school for at-risk students.
