Teaching our children to love God's Word. We spent some quality time with family this past week during Thanksgiving break. We sat around our tables and talked about the things/people we are so thankful for. But most of all we are thankful for God in Heaven and the opportunity to serve Him freely and to raise our kids with the knowledge of His promises and blessings, when they follow His will. Today we want to talk about how important it is that we are teaching our children about our Faith. It is up to us to show them how to live like Christians. They are watching everything we do and say. Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law." Joshua 24:15 " And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Proverbs 23:26 "My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways."
