Your mind lives in multiple realities simultaneously. Unfortunately, this is called delusion.  The fictional events in your mind are real. They have real effects on your mind and body. When you are not yet enlightened, you think God is separate from you. This is called duality. But there is only One Divine Reality, who is the source and substance of all that exists.
