“The Self does not die,” Gurudevi explains.  The one thing that continues without end is the One Reality from which all has come. You are not something that was created. God did not create you, but became you, and is being you now. You are that which never dies.  Your own essence, your own Self, is immortal.  The purpose of human life is to know your own Self.
