Teal Report

After seven years the Teal Report podcast is coming to a close as my entire Hockey Pack joins me as I go out with a bang...

There's so much to come in our 75 minute finale as we go behind the idea of Teal Report while looking back on what I loved and sharing wonderful memories over the years

While calling time was tough at the end of the day it's the right thing for me and I can't thank you all for listening over the last seven years

Thank You and Goodbye!!!

While the Sharks gave us another miserable season the Barracuda gave us some much needed light as they got a San Jose team back into the playoffs for the first time since 2019

In this bonus episode we will recap every single playoff game for our San Jose Barracuda as well as looking at how the entire playoff picture went down

Last year the spotlight was on San Jose as the first big major event to be held at Tech CU Arena took place as the AHL held its all star weekend at the Bay Area and it was a spectacular event that showed just how far San Jose has come since the Barracuda's arrival

It's the Season 7 finale and we have a lot to get through as we enter the final countdown to our last episode in September

We start with my thoughts on what has been another miserable season for the San Jose Sharks including a deep dive into our stats for the 2024/25 season

Next up we look at how well I did at predicting how our Pacific Division rivals would fare and if I got any right this year

Then we reminiscw on Season 7 as a whole in what has been a bumper final season that has kept me on guard throughout the season

Finally we preview what's to come in our final ever episode which will drop in your feeds in September right before the preseason begins

I am literally speechless as I had no idea that our beloved SJ Sharkie was once again up for consideration for being inducted to the Mascot Hall of Fame never mind him actually being voted into the 2025 Class

I am over the moon for him as Sharkie is the most hardest working fish in all of sport and it was about time he got the recognition he deserves and I think the Sharks organisation needs to celebrate big style

Here's how I found out the news - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4k_zM2fhjQHere's Sharkie being revealed on Good Morning America - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjvtxTqplgURead the article here - https://www.nhl.com/sharks/news/s-j-sharkie-named-to-the-mascot-hall-of-fame

Ut's an emotional epiosde of Teal Report as for one last time I give my thoughts and opinions on the San Jose Sharks as the final month of the regular season saw us taking on teams who all had playoff implications on the line

Speaking of playoffs we preview the first round for the Western Conference and make that bold prediction for who will represent us in the Finals this June

The final trip to Cuda Corner sees us recap a month where playoff hockey would officially return to the Bay Area for the first time in six years as the Barracuda clinched their spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs

On March 3 2023 I finally got to attend y first ever San Jose Barracuda game during their first season at Tech CU Arena and it was more than I could ever imagined as not only did I get to see a win but I also met a very special someone

After sharing The Tank with their big brothers for seven years the time had finally come for the grand opening of Tech CU Arena and for the Barracuda to have their own place to call home

It was an exteremely emotional night as the Henderson Silver Knights had the honour of being the first victims to fall to the Deep

With Wicked Part 2 coming out later this year I couldn't resist the title while I still can as the San Jose Sharks had one of their massive homestands to date which saw them take down multiple Original Six teams and denting playoff hopes for some

Over in Cuda Corner things get tight in the division as the Barracuda remain very much in the hunt to clinch that first playoff berth since 2019

Also this month we recap everything that happened in the week of the Trade Deadline which provide a lot of shocks which I'm pleased to say this year did not come from Teal Town

Thanks to the 4 Nations this month's episode is going to feel a little different than usual...

First up we go through all of the month's fixtures as the Sharks faced off against most of the canadian teams with very mixed results and fortunes

After that we will head over to Cuda Corner whjch saw a lack of form from the team as some silly mistakes cost dearly as the Barracuda are still in the mix for the playoffs but only just
