Does he like me? Why is he acting like this? When will he finally be ready?
You could spend hours analysing his behaviour, his childhood and his ex—and still have no idea whether you actually want the relationship he’s offering.
In this episode, we’re unpacking five questions that keep you auditioning for love and approval. Yes, including “Am I better than his ex?” We’re going there.
I’m sharing the 90–10 rule from my book, ELLAVATE: 7 Steps to Elevate After Toxic Love: 10% them, 90% you. It’s about where your attention goes, not who’s to blame. You can understand his situation without making your needs disappear.
We’ll talk about dating potential, waiting for someone to be ready, and the difference between liking a man and liking the relationship you’re actually having.
You’ve spent enough time asking whether he wants you. What do you want?

In this episode, we’re not going to pretend that everyone has to appreciate your personality, your dreams, or the kind of relationship you want. Maybe you genuinely are too much—for him. And that is valuable information.
I’m sharing five things to do when someone calls you “too much” or makes you question whether you need to become smaller to be loved. We’ll explore how to examine feedback without absorbing the label, deal with the old wounds it may activate, recognize incompatibility sooner, and continue building your life without editing yourself into acceptability.

She got a restraining order—and then she let him back in.
So, was the abuse really that bad? Was she lying? Does she secretly enjoy the drama?
Or have we been asking the wrong questions?
In this episode, we look beneath the behaviour that outsiders are so quick to judge. We explore why a woman may continue speaking to—or return to—the very person she once needed protection from.
Using evidence-based psychology in language that actually makes sense, I break down traumatic bonding, coercive control, cognitive dissonance, survival responses and the powerful “slot-machine effect” of intermittent reinforcement.
Because a restraining order can create a legal boundary—but it cannot instantly switch off love, fear, hope, financial dependence or a nervous system that has been trained to survive.
Her behaviour may be unsafe, confusing and contradictory—and still make complete psychological sense.
This episode is an invitation to look again. To become curious before becoming critical. And to replace the question “Why doesn’t she just leave?” with a far more useful one:
“What happened to her—and what would she need to become safely and sustainably free?”
If you recognize yourself in this episode, please know: going back does not make you stupid, weak or responsible for another person’s violence. But you also don’t have to wait until you stop loving someone before you start protecting yourself.

Why do you keep replaying conversations, analyzing every text, and wondering what he really meant?
In this episode of the Team Ellavate Podcast, we explore the real reason overthinking shows up in love and dating. It’s not because you’re “too emotional” or “too much.” Overthinking is often a sign that your nervous system doesn’t feel safe yet.
After toxic relationships, heartbreak, or inconsistent partners, your mind starts working overtime to protect you — scanning for signs, trying to predict outcomes, and avoiding being hurt again.
But the solution isn’t thinking harder.
The solution is learning how to calm your nervous system and reconnect with your inner stability.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
•Why overthinking happens in dating
•What it has to do with attachment and nervous system regulation
•How to start shifting from anxiety to emotional safety in love
If you’ve ever felt exhausted by your own thoughts in dating, this episode will help you understand what’s really going on — and how to finally stop the cycle.
