For this episode Ted speaks with Ray McLean who is the founder of Leading Teams, a group of experienced facilitators that assist sporting and corporate teams to lift their performance. You may be familiar with Leading Teams as they have been very successful with some high profile sporting teams over the last few decades.

Ted first crossed paths with Ray back at the end of 2005 when he joined the Sydney Swans from his previous AFL club, the Essendon Bombers.

In this podcast episode they discuss;

•The importance of core values in determining accepted behaviour

•Embracing "genuine" conversations

•The Test (Amazon Prime) and The Last Dance (Netflix) documentaries and the accepted behaviour these sporting teams allowed.

A lot of the conversation is centred on sport, but there are many similarities between the sporting and corporate worlds. In particular, they're both highly competitive where gaining just a small edge can make a big difference to the outcome.
