Tears Wiped Away Forever

“For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” - Revelation 7:17.

Have you ever cried alone, with no one noticing? Have you felt like no one really understands the pain you carry? Maybe it’s the loss of someone you love, the regret of a mistake, or the weight of an uncertain future. Silent tears, hidden tears—ones no one sees. But God sees them all.

This verse shows us something incredible: in heaven, there will be no more tears. Not just because pain will no longer exist, but because God Himself will wipe every tear away. That means personal, intimate, direct care. He doesn’t send an angel to do it. He comes to you, like a loving Father, and says, “It’s over. You’ll never hurt like this again.”

Heaven is not boring, not idleness. It is rest without laziness, service without pain, joy without end. There, every insecurity, every loneliness, every sin that wounded us here will be gone forever.

But here’s the key: if we want to experience that tearless future, we need to hand over our tears to Jesus today. He already carried our pain on the cross, and only He can turn sorrow into hope.

Maybe you’ve been hiding your tears even from yourself. But today, God is saying: “Let Me be the Father who wipes away what you cannot heal.”

So the question is: will you keep holding on to your pain, or will you hand it to the Lamb who promises to wipe it all away?

Today, make that choice. Give your tears, your mistakes, and your fears to Jesus. Because what He has for you is infinitely greater than any pain you’ve ever faced.
