Gamification in the higher learning space has been the holy grail of education researchers since the buzzword appeared on the scene some years ago. One team trying to smash through this ceiling multimedia producer Jeffory Asselin and forensic biologist Dr. Paola Magni from Murdoch University, who are developing a blended learning system that connects VR that assists with training crime scene investigators.

These “partners in crime” talk to Tech Society hosts Alex and John about the challenges of teaching tech savvy learners, the benefits of offering students real-world scenarios in controlled environments and the value of current generation tech to educational research and learning outcomes.
