But how does someone become a leader? A famous quote attributed to Shakespeare sums up the general path taken by the leaders of yesterday and today: “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.”
In this episode of our Leadership series, we speak with Western Australian politician Hon. Don Punch MLA, state representative of the regional centre of Bunbury in Western Australia’s lower house and a Minister in the state’s government. One of his many portfolios includes Innovation and ICT, so it was important to Alex and John to “get to know him” a bit better, as leaders in a tech-focused business themselves.
In this conversation, Minister Punch shares his personal leadership journey, how that journey led into his involvement in politics, and what led for him to be a leader in his community.
