Dr. Elina Berglund Scherwitzl is the CTO and co-founder of Natural Cycles - the first ever certified contraception app which they claim is 93% effective against pregnancy.
But prior to founding Natural Cycles she was part of the team at CERN who discovering the Higgs Boson Particle - which lead to a Nobel Prize in Physics. The New York Times published a great cartoon explaining the Higgs Boson particle that Elina and her colleagues at CERN discovered which can be found here.
