TECHNOLOGY DEPRIVATION

Listen Later

It is no joke to be locked out of technology at the beginning of it. Before the internet connection, the technology that was available then was cable television.

In today's episode, we will discuss Technology Deprivation. What I mean by deprivation is the process of denying a technology that is available throughout the rest of that society to a specific segment of society.

I will discuss the effect of Technology Deprivation upon Black People and the Black community throughout the United States

You will learn the effect of denying access to technology. As I mentioned above it is no joke to be locked out of technology at the beginning of it because once you are left behind, you can never cope with the latest technology.

You will learn how Black Americans were again denied access to technology.

Listen as I deep dive into the issue of Technology Deprivation, this is not a Digital Divide.
