During the innovation day we got to speak with attendants and speakers. Anna Gimbrère (Science Communicator and Journalist) opened with a keynote and inspired participants with her vision on tech and sustainability. Anna shedded a different light on the climate change theme: “We do not have a climate problem; we have a waste problem”. Anna closed with an open question to all: “How will future generations judge our habits 100 years from now?”
In this podcast we talk further with Anna on whether "a sustainable product is an expensive product". Attendants from different industries share their thoughts in the innovation day: Martijn Jansen (Startup Entrepreneur), Hans Rosier (Manager Digital Benelux Mediq), Steven Dijkstra (Head of Marketing Packaging, Distribution & Integrated Businesses at Tata Steel in Europe), Gerard van Hal (Senior Business Relationship Manager Commercial at Tata Steel in Europe), Wendy Frodyma (Microsoft Sustainability lead, for SmartPlaces, delivering Business Value with AI | Retail, Consumer Goods & Travel), and Claudia Heger (Director Finance & Control at Kadaster).
