Lisa Collum is the founder and CEO of a multimillion-dollar curriculum company, Top Score Writing, Inc., and the owner of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Coastal Middle and High School. Top Score Writing is an innovative step-by-step program that has proven to dramatically increase writing scores by an average of 70% nationwide on various state assessments.

Lisa created her own series of daily lessons to teach and reinforce crucial writing skills. In the first year, Lisa’s systematic approach increased the percentage of her students scoring at the proficiency level from 38% to 95%, a number that increased to 100% for the following two years.

Due to her method’s success, word spread and Lisa began receiving frequent requests for her program. With no business experience and an initial investment of only $100, Lisa began selling her curriculum to others. Top Score Writing has been adopted nationally by hundreds of schools and has earned both Lisa and the company numerous awards including Top 50 Florida Companies to Watch for 2021, a CEO Global Award, and Entrepreneur of the Year 2021.

With a mission to serve children in her community, in 2016 Lisa bought a local private school and turned it into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Coastal Middle and High School is a place for students who require a unique approach to their education and has been awarded the Best of the Best Private Schools in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Lisa regularly presents at conferences and events on topics related to education, business development, overcoming obstacles, work/life balance, and female empowerment, offering real-world advice based on a philosophy strongly rooted in step-by-step success formulas.
