Thankfully, the storm has past, and we can get back to what really matters - theoretically informed discussion of technology news. In this week's installment, Apple may be throwing its weight around in an anti-competitive way to establish a functional streaming music service, but they really show just buy the whole the music industry. They have the money. Oculus Rift has a release date, but it's later than the HTC Vive, Hololens, and the coming robot apocalypse. Speaking of our new mechanical overlords, the FAA is relaxing (if only slightly) its drone restrictions. None of us will be paying attention though because Snake is coming to modern smartphones, and boy, is it only to be awful.
