Teck resources withdraws bid for Alberta oilsands mining project worth over $20 billion
In a huge blow to the Alberta government, Mining firm Teck Resources has decided to withdraw its application for the Frontier mine project. The $20.6 billion oil sands mining project was awaiting federal government approval, the decision was expected before the end of February.
