TED - Matt Cutts: Try something new for 30 days (Part 2)

30일간 새로운 것을 해보기

There’s a few things I learned 몇 가지 배운 점이 있습니다.

while doing these 30 day challenges. 제가 30일 동안 새로운 것에 도전하면서

The first was, instead of the months flying by, forgotten, 첫 번째는 시간을 그냥 흘려 보내는 대신

the time was much more memorable. 더 기억에 남는 순간으로 만들 수 있다는 것입니다.

This was part of a challenge I did 이것은 저의 도전 중 일부였습니다.

to take a picture every day for a month. 한달 동안 매일 한 장씩 사진을 찍는 것.

And I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing that day. 저는 그날 제가 어디에 있었고 무엇을 하고 있었는지 정확히 기억합니다.

I also noticed that as I started to do more and harder 30 day challenges, 또한 제가 더 다양한 도전들을 더 열심히 실행하면서 깨달은 점은

my self-confidence grew. 바로 자신감을 얻었다는 것입니다.

I went from desk-dwelling computer nerd 전 책상에만 틀어박혀 있던 컴퓨터 범생이었는데, (dwelling – 빠져 살다, 거주하다)

to the kind of guy who bikes to work for fun. 자전거로 출퇴근 하는 사람으로 변했습니다. 재미로 말이죠.

Even last year I ended up hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro, 심지어 작년에는 킬리만자로 산을 등반하기까지 했습니다.

the highest mountain in Africa. 아프리카에서 가장 높은 산인

I would never have been that adventurous 저는 모험심이라고는 눈곱만큼도 없던 사람이었어요.

before I started my 30 day challenges. 30일 도전을 하기 전엔

I also figured out that if you really want something badly enough, 제가 또 깨달은 점은 여러분이 무엇인가를 정말 간절히 원한다면

you can do anything for 30 days. 30일이면 그 일을 충분히 할 수 있다는 겁니다.
