Pup and Keira speak with the ever lovely Ted Perkins about his initiative and organization, Recovery Through Cinema.

Ted is a former studio executive at Warner Bros and Universal. Executive on first-ever studio co-production between mainland China and Hollywood. He went on to produce four films in China, including Snowflower & The Secret Fan, based on the best-selling novel, distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures. Perkins has also held executive-level posts with several blue-chip film sales companies including Senator International/Mandate Pictures, and KMI. He also has a prolific screen-writing career and has sold various scripts to companies liker Fox, Videocine and Overture Films.

He volunteers his time as an addiction and recovery YouTube personality, sobriety mentor, and has helped thousands of people on their recovery journey through his blogs, videos, and weekly SMART Recovery meetings. He is the author of ADDICTED IN FILM: Movies We Love About the Habits We Hate (available on Amazon), creator of the Recovery Movie Meetups Program, and publisher of the Recovery Movie Meetups Workbook. Perkins has lived and worked in over 50 countries and now resides in Los Angeles.
