This episode was originally released January 2021. It was our first episode, back when we had very little knowledge of what we were doing in terms of audio production. Like Teedra, we think that this episode needs a little more love, so we've cleaned up the audio (as best as we could, it was a mess, lol) and we're putting it back out on the streets today, remixed. Check it out if you haven't heard the original.
We're discussing 2004's Complex Simplicity by Teedra Moses. We talk about our favorite tracks, her sassy lyrics and why we think that she should be bigger than she is. Christina tells us what it was like as a woman listening to this in '04 and Miguel gives us his theory on who he thinks this album is really about.
