DMV Spotlight on 8-17-2025 shines a light on teen cannabis use in Maryland since the legalization of recreational pot two years ago. Guest, PhD Kara Skelton, a family health researcher at Johns Hopkins says there is growing research on the impact of cannabis on the developing brain with increased anxiety and poor academic performance and even suicidal tendencies.
