A 15-year-old boy died after being thrown from a stolen Skoda travelling at 180km/h in Hoppers Crossing when the driver lost control and crashed into two other vehicles. Up to seven teenagers aged between 14 and 16 were in the vehicle, which police allege had just attempted to carjack another vehicle moments before the fatal collision on Derrimut Road. Four teenagers fled the scene while two 16-year-old girls were hospitalised, with a 14-year-old later self-presenting at hospital and another teen arrested by the dog squad at Pacific Werribee.
