Teen Empowerment Block Party
This weekend (9/3/23) marks the Second Annual Teen Empowerment Block Party, a collaborative event put on by #REALTALKBRIDGES, #TEENSWHOCARE, and The Natural Hustle Entertainment. This event provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for teens and young adults to unwind, relax, refocus, and heal, with fun activities, games, sports, teen/young adult performers and live DJs, restorative circles a healing tent, and a variety of free food.
Our guests this week are Janisha Whitlock from #REALTALKBRIDGES and Christine Martin, co-CEO of The Natural Hustle Entertainment. They'll provide an overview of their organizations and how this collaborative event came to be and how they work to provide Buffalo's youth a platform to express themselves creatively and explore their emotions.
