Novice teen drivers are twice as likely as adult drivers to be in a fatal crash. Despite a 9% decline in passenger vehicle driver fatalities of 15- to 18-year-olds between 2011 and 2020, teens are still significantly overrepresented in crashes.    For parents, this is a cause of worry and frustration when their young driver takes to the roads. Make it a priority to talk with your teens about the importance of adhering to a set of safety rules.
