The toys contain magnets that can loosen and detach. If swallowed, these high-powered magnets attract each other inside the digestive tract leading to intestinal perforations, twisting, blockages, blood poisoning, or death.  Affected are models STA-BGY-801T and STA-BTP-806T.

About 22,850 toys were sold in the US,  about 1,977 were sold in Canada, and about 190 were sold in Mexico at toy, children’s, and specialty stores and online at Tegu.com and Amazon.com from August 2018 through April 2025.
