Victory at Bat

Tehillim Chapter 50: Psalms 50

Listen Later

Even in the 1970s, in the United States of America ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ, my GaMi hid her and I while she taught me. It was very important to Her for me to know that she was more than a face and now, I pass this on to you in the hopes you will hear before I check out again.

She was learning to be a doctor at the University of Berlin when those she went to school with all her life arrived to her home to take her and our family. Because of her looks, she was made to service Nazi soldiers during WWII. She was imprisoned in a brothel, but because of her Knowledge, she was allowed other privileges. Despite what many may think, war creates different times and love happens during the hardest of times. She was never allowed to own her own car, bank accounts, belongings. Just like me and my Mother. But, Her Faith was like no other despite appearances. She was more than a face. She was more than Marilyn Monroe. She wants you, who is reading this, to Know this. She was almost a Doctor and she studied botany before the War. Before they held her and killed our family in 1946.

This reading is for Her because She is the reason I keep putting one foot in front of the other until my recall back Home to Heaven.

I apologize for the lack of transcript and closed captioning. Iโ€™m fumbling through this process.

Thank you for listening to me. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ“ฟ
