A track inspired by trips to Mt Teide, at the top of the huge volcano that is Tenerife. From the seafloor to the top of the volcano rises some 24,600 feet or 3,715 metres. That's over 12,000 feet above sea level. The volcano was once much bigger; Teide sits in the centre of a vast caldera which was created when the top of the original volcano was blown apart in a massive explosion millions of years ago. The picture was taken by the roadside looking down the slopes of Teide, above the clouds!
