Listen Later

COVID-19 has transformed the way we practice Medicine. Telemedicine, though in existence for the last 40 years, has not achieved traction until this historical pandemic. COVID-19 has forced us to embrace this technology to protect healthcare workers and patients from transmitting and spreading the virus while managing the needs of patients.

COVID-19 may be here to stay and while waiting for effective treatment and vaccine, it is incumbent on us to continue exploring ways we can deliver medicine safely and compassionately.
