Today on the 5: Apple's Craig Frederighi recently said that if sideloading was allowed on iOS, “the floodgates are open for malware.” If that reminds you of the histrionic anti-piracy rhetoric from outfits like the MPAA and RIAA, that's because it's the same flavor of nonsense.
