Before Jesus, the Temple was the place where people experienced the presence of God. As a result of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Spirit of God dwells in those who believe. While each believer possesses the Holy Spirit, we experience the presence of God in a very special way when we gather together, for only together are we the temple where the Spirit dwells. Our hearts long for God's presence and this should compel us to prioritize and prepare for worship with our church
