Shutterstock Dear Liz, I am a follower of your Pain Letter approach and I love it! Here’s what I have found. Only about one in four of the hiring managers I write to ever respond. The others just ignore my letter if they see it at all. I have followed up on a couple of my Pain Letters. One manager I followed up with never replied. The other one got back to me, and we had a great conversation (that door is still open). Here’s my issue.
