Hopefully you can find it in your heart to work with me as I learn how to be more of a listener and not talk all over my guests 😆.
This is a lovely conversation between myself and a dear friend of about 15 years. We’ve always pushed each other’s boundaries when it comes to how we think about life - the shoulds, needs, opportunities, and pitfalls. This episode is a shining example of how even through disagreements, we can still care deeply about each other’s well being and be friends. We can still have a lovely conversation, feel heard, and stand in our own truths.
We talk about the Health Care System - both agreeing that it’s broken but disagreeing on what the future holds for it.
We talk about how important TRUST is in all decisions being made - how we each trust different sources and that’s perfectly fine.
We talk about how privilege plays a part in both of the above.
We talk about “alternative” ways and more “traditional” ways of coping with symptoms and aging with grace (or not). One of the (many) times that I run off on a tangent and discuss detox opportunities (link below).
And then finally we talk about cancer - this is where you might shed a tear because even through all the differences we clearly care about this life and each other.
Thanks for listening!
