How much you pay for your electricity each month, is also dependent on fuel costs - as this is what Tenaga Nasional uses to generate power. 

However, TNB uses the Imbalance Cost Pass-Through or ICPT mechanism, as well as government subsidies, to determine tariffs every six months, ensuring fairness for all consumers.
