2025 tested Tamyia in ways she never imagined. In a year shaped by adversity, false narratives, and deep spiritual growth, she reflects on what it means to remain grounded when your character is questioned and your faith is tested.
In this episode of Tender Tidbits with Tamyia, she explores the freedom found in releasing control over others' opinions, trusting that God knows the truth, and remembering that we all reap what we sow.
God chastens those He loves! So, if you ever find yourself being disciplined or corrected by God, it's a sure sign that you are His child and He loves you. In this episode of Tender Tidbits with Tamyia, Tamyia shares a recent testimony of how God snatched her up after subtly deviating from His will.
In 2021, God gave Tamyia a very specific and detailed warning dream that came to past this year, in 2025, almost 4 years later. At the time, she didn't pay it much attention, but after connecting the dots to a spiritually chaotic and painful experience in her professional life, she has no doubt that God is with her and continues to move in her life.
Recently, Tamyia has found herself in a paradigm shift where her usual approach and way of thinking and doing something has been replaced by something new. And she is so grateful for God's communication, love, protection, and care. He can take the worst situation of your life and turn it around for your good to get the glory. And what a privilege it is to be loved by God!
As demonstrated in the hit Hulu tv show, Paradise, sometimes all you need to do is make a scene. In this episode of Tender Tidbits with Tamyia, Tamyia details a recent experience in her life where she was forced to make a scene in the workplace because her safety was on the line.
Sometimes, making a scene is the only way people listen. Sometimes, making a scene is the only way to break really bad cycles and patterns. Sometimes, making a scene is the only way to bring about real change.
Understanding that causing a scene comes at a cost, Tamyia's only regret was not speaking up sooner. And despite the challenges she faced following the incident, she is grateful to know that God sees all and ultimately holds her future in His hands.
We live in a society that thrives on lies, drama, negativity, and misinformation. At the click of a button, anyone can publish false allegations about you, lacking overall credibility, facts, context, and reliable sources of information and perspectives to support their claims. In this episode of Tender Tidbits with Tamyia, Tamyia urges listeners to remember that just because something is written or posted online, doesn't mean it's true.
Instead of feeding into the drama of a juicy headline with "bombshell" allegations that are misleading, deceitful, and one-sided in nature, Tamyia challenges listeners to do the following: 1. Research the author and sources. 2. Analyze the integrity of the content. 3. Resist the urge to engage. The juicier the headline, the juicier your questions need to be for the source that the information is coming from.
As a recent victim of defamation, Tamyia is passionate about protecting her name and reputation that has and will continue to positively impact the lives of many.
Fighting for my life, at birth, with tubes running through my body in the neonatal intensive care unit was my first experience on earth. Although traumatic, my birth story foreshadowed the intense challenges I would later face in life and showed me that I am an overcomer.
I come from a strong family foundation where faith, love, and sacrifice are ever-present, and I have no doubt that my life is full of purpose.
Currently in my grad school era, my focus is all about developing my professional career and putting myself in a position where I can continue to positively impact lives.
Welcome to Tender Tidbits with Tamyia, a podcast by Tamyia Paul.
My name is Tamyia Paul, and I'm an African American emerging adult woman navigating the complexities of life. As a debt-free two-time college graduate, straight-A grad student, emerging professional, volunteer, and community supporter, I'm not your average young adult.
In this journaling podcast, my goal is to combat some of the evil and darkness in the land by shining the light of Christ and sharing personal testimonies, experiences, and transformative life lessons I've learned throughout my journey.
I've been silent long enough, after first creating my podcast back in 2021, and I hope you'll join me for the ride. Thanks for listening and stay tuned!
