For Episode 52 of Tendy Talk presented by the BLPA Podcast Network and The Hockey Podcast Network, I chat with stand-up comedian and goalie Billy Ramirez. I first discovered Billy when he liked one of my posts on social media, and I saw his profile description of stand-up comedian/goalie. I knew then we needed to talk.

After watching some of Billy's stand-up clips I learned he is also Mexican. I asked him how he doesn't have a joke about being a Mexican stand-up comedian goalie and he wasn't sure, but something tells me he is working on something now. It was fun learning how he got into the great game of hockey coming from a lower-income family and living in a neighborhood where hockey probably wasn't the sport many others were playing yet alone talking about.
