Tensions rise over faculty voting rights (5/12/2025)

Listen Later

In this episode, we talk with staff writer, Maya Shields, about tensions surrounding faculty voting rights in the English department. First-year writing courses are taught by non-tenured faculty, but they aren't given departmental voting rights. Maya breaks down the non-tenured faculty members' position on this issue, and explains the contention between them and the rest of the department.
