British environmental activists for libel in 1990. Helen Steel and Dave

Morris had distributed a flyer that criticized McDonald’s, including the

company’s environmental practices. Unable to afford an attorney, Steel and

Morris defended themselves in court. McLibel, a film documenting the case,
