Emcees have a way with words that they use to drum up support. When the show is about raising environmental awareness, the master of ceremonies takes on the role of educator, catalyst, and organizer. Sharing the mic on Terra Verde today are Rosa Gonzalez, representing headRush and Green For All, Sirraum Nash with the Big Tadoo Puppet Crew and the Sustainable Living Roadshow, and Paul Friedman, founder of Rock the Bike. These three eco-emcees are performers who build movements by making even the most uphill battles seem manageable and worthwhile to their audiences, thereby translating interest into action.
