Illinois State Senator Terri Bryant joined WXAN to talk about her Facebook post, calling for members of the Department of Corrections to contact her office if they suspect an illegal immigrant is being detained by IDOC. Senator Bryant is asserting that she will help communicate that information to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, so they may take action, with without IDOC employees running afoul of the State of Illinois and the TRUST Act.
