In this week’s episode Britt ties up some loose ends on the spirits (or jackalopes), that haunted her and her brothers at their home on Rodeo Drive in Denton, Texas.  All the talk of roof monsters reminds Alissa of a time where the line between urban legend and reality became blurred thanks to the Kaboony Boy. The crown jewel of this episode comes in the form of a listener story sent all the way from New Zealand, the homeland of Alissa’s fake boyfriend, Flight of the Conchords star, Jemaine Clement. Our listener Helen tells the tale of a pervy evil spirit that tormented her and her family over the course of twenty years by haunting their sleep and peeping on visiting girls in the shower. Alisss and Britt close out the episode by reflecting on Helen’s tales while discussing their own experiences with the bizarre phenomenon known as sleep paralysis.
