Meet Dan and Dan! Dan Reed, Music Director and Afternoon Host at WXPN/Philadelphia and Dan DeLuca, Music Critic and Columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer sit down on a bi-weekly basis to talk MUSIC! In 1972, Terry Dolan readied his debut self-titled album but for unknown reasons it was never released … until now. Terry recruited an incredible cast of musicians to play on the album including Rolling Stones touring pianist Nicky Hopkins, The Pointer Sisters, plus members of Journey, Steve Miller Band, and Quicksilver Messenger Service. Terry passed away in 2012. The album was finally released in November of 2015 and Greg Douglass who played guitar on the album joins us to talk about this lost gem of an album on this podcast. It's a fascinating story, and Greg gives us firsthand look back at the process of recording the album.
